Ten Questions to Ask Yourself to Make More Confident Decisions

Life is a series of options. How to make a decision that will later regret? If you’ve collected all your data, do your risk analysis, which lists its advantages and disadvantages, and indeed all other logical steps … but still feel hesitant, and then go through this list of questions to see if you can answer with confidence and clarity. If you can, then you will not regret your decision because your choice is in line with intuition.

It is not right or wrong decisions about the awareness of the choices, decisions that come from a place of love and higher purpose.

1. Do I really need to make this decision now?

Why do you want to make this decision in the first place? Is this really a decision I make, or external factors are pushing to make a decision I’d rather not do? What price should I pay to avoid taking a decision immediately? Am I willing to pay this price?

2. This decision will be moving in the direction that I want to go?

Is the choice I am making are consistent with the mission of my life, dream or vision? Is this decision to build a result that I really want?

3. Am I telling the truth about how things stand now?

Is the decision based on real evidence about how things are right now? Is there any way that I’m fooling myself about the situation, so that you can not see a reality that may be more favorable to me? Am I taking a pessimistic view that prompts me to do something rather not?

4. Am I acting in my own higher interest?

This decision is good for me? Or could it be something to punish myself I’ve done in the past? Am I only accumulate on extra work to avoid dealing with something more important? What is the feeling of my body when I think about this decision (happy or sad)?

5. Am I acting in the best interests of everyone affected by this decision?

Who are all stakeholders in this decision? Is this decision to help all stakeholders to move forward with their life projects and goals?

6. I am giving this my best shot?

I am putting my best effort, talent, skills and resources in this decision? What slows me? Why?

7. I am ready to assume full responsibility for the outcome, no matter what the outcome is?

If I go ahead with this and see absolutely no change in the situation around me, I regret my decision? The projection of myself in time and the display of all possible outcomes, is there a way I would do something different? I’m proud of what I do, and no fault or blame anyone or anything if the result goes sour? Do I have to let the need to control the outcome?

8. I listened and heard the real message of this situation?

I have learned from past decisions that got me here? What is the situation, trying to tell? Could this be a lesson deeper? What is the pattern?

9. I have listed all that I can help in this situation?

I’m taking the weight of this decision at all on myself? I am playing the hero rescuing? Or I have carried in all the help possible, have everything and everyone involved?

10. Can I answer all the questions above so that makes me feel grounded and empowered?

If * not * (ie if you still feel nervous and uncertain about their decision), go back and find a better answer to any of these questions that makes you hard. Do not hesitate to ask for help from a professional coach.

* If yes, then you are making a decision that coincides with his intuition. Move forward with confidence, and best wishes to his intentions are significant.
