IMPROVING SELF ESTEEM WITH AFFIRMATIONS AND THERAPEUTIC RELAXATION MUSIC
Author: admin | Category: MotivationPositive self-esteem is very important for our general health and welfare as human beings. Having positive self-esteem is also important for promoting any type of healing, whether physical, emotional or spiritual. Poor or low self-esteem on the other hand can be very detrimental to our well-being and even our very existence. Negative self-esteem can create anxiety, stress, loneliness, depression, problems with relationships, seriously impair academic and job performance and can also generate an increased vulnerability to drug and alcohol abuse and dependence. On the other hand, a person with positive self-esteem tends to be more motivated to take and creating a life she loves, lives and powerfully in this process be authentically related to others in their community public records. Having positive self-esteem seems to be necessary to have a happy and healthy existence regardless of who we are or what profession we’re taking in life.
What is self-esteem? That is commonly believed that self-esteem is merely about how we feel about ourselves at any time. While seemingly existing in degrees, we tend to believe that we have positive or negative self-esteem and make that determination only by how we feel about ourselves. However, in a conversation Transformation Ministry, our feelings or emotions do not exist alone or have an independent existence. Not simply feels. By contrast, for every feeling or emotion we have, whether positive or negative, there is a reflection that we have about ourselves that generates the experience of self-esteem. Whether positive or negative, self-esteem is merely how our body experiences the thoughts that the individual has about himself. If a person has positive thoughts about themselves will experience positive or good self-esteem. On the other hand, if the person has negative thoughts about who he thinks it’s time to experience poor or negative self-esteem. Therefore, to really understand what self-esteem has to do with it is more important to be able to modify as necessary for the welfare or cure, we must first achieve self-esteem is really about our thinking and More specifically about the thoughts that develop or create about ourselves. The thoughts or beliefs we have about ourselves are crucial in so far as they determine or create the structure of our experience of self-esteem and the various emotions associated with it.
They also tend to think of our self-esteem as something that is determined by events taking place in our lives, particularly those in our past. We tend to believe what we believe we are and how we feel about ourselves is merely the product, or effect caused by the experiences we have had in the past, we are that we are under what has happened to us as human beings . More specifically, we tend to think that the cause in the case that we believe that we and our self-esteem is due to circumstance, situation or others, people, places and things. There tend to think that our self-esteem is something that really developed or produced. Within the work of transformation, not the past, circumstance or situation than others, what determines our underlying self-image and corresponding self-esteem. We created our thoughts and with it our emotions that we have given to events that took place in our lives, especially at an early age. In the sense that the machines that give meaning to everything in our lives between them and what is more important to us. At an early age the meaning we give an event tends to be made to be all about us. While the events occur, it is not that the events are important, but rather the sense that we and, more importantly, how we have done what is about our identity.
Taking into account the fact that our thoughts determine our feelings or emotions and equally important that we are truly responsible for their creation, to change or transform our self-esteem, how they tend to feel about ourselves, amounts to us altering how we see or conceive of ourselves in the world today and this work is our sole responsibility. It is our own image, how we define ourselves as an individual in the world today, what determines our experience of self-esteem and this is what we are truly responsible for creating and equally responsible for the transformation. When alter or transform our definition of ourselves in this we can change how we feel about ourselves and with it our experience of reality and life in general. If we succeed we are not responsible for what we think about ourselves and who are the real authors of our own image and self-esteem continue to blame something or some body, remain powerless and stuck in life. The question of how to actually go about changing or upgrading an individual’s self-esteem is one that has been debated for many years by professionals both in mental health and addiction arenas.
Self-esteem can be improved or transformed in several ways. One way to improve self-esteem is more to do the work of transformation as outlined in my articles, Processing and Transformation in the conversation. To improve self-esteem in this way is becoming now more than self-limiting beliefs, which has left us in life and in the process of creating new possibilities for oneself, a new image of itself from which to begin to live life. Another way to improve an individual self-esteem is through the use of positive statements. Given that the basis of self-esteem is thought that a person has about himself, a person with poor or negative self-esteem is believing negative thoughts or ideas about who he thinks it is. The individual may think, for example, that he is "useless" or "not good enough" and as a result tend to experience poor or negative self-esteem. Within the work of transformation and Transformation Ministry, the thought is at the base or core of our self-talk is defined as a person of Self-limiting beliefs, fundamental or basic beliefs that we think we are. Unless this core thought or belief that a person has about himself is changed or transformed followed by a bad experience or negative self-esteem and as a result of this negative thought pattern create or generate life experiences that will match and validate what they think about themselves. Given such a cognitive and emotional situation life will continue to appear as it has in the past and the future which merely be the probable almost certain future.
Using positive statements can be a very powerful tool for transforming what a person thinks about himself and as a result improve the individual self-esteem. The consistent use of positive affirmations to transform the negative beliefs about a person who thinks it is positive, will begin to change the basis and structure of his inner voice or I talk and produce a transformation from poor self-esteem to positive self-esteem. While used in a variety of ways, working with positive affirmations will be more effective when delivered through or in combination with the music of relaxation therapy. What therapeutic relaxation music does to enhance the positive effect of statements is to create a relaxed atmosphere audio for the individual to become even more open or suggestive to the language of positive affirmations. When therapeutic relaxation music is combined with binaural audio tones audio that is the space created for the delivery of positive affirmations is even more relaxing and as a result very powerful. In addition to the use of a single type of music relaxation therapy, infusion of either theta or alpha binaural tones is crucial to the success of such intervention. When therapeutic relaxation music and binaural audio tones are combined in this way the person will experience a very deep state of relaxation and as a consequence become more open to the reception and acceptance of the positive statements.
The key to effective use of the statement in this or any other type of intervention is consistency. The self-image and negative thoughts about a person who thinks it’s his experience that generates bad or negative self-esteem is well established in their belief system. In many cases developing a negative self-image took years to build and has been reinforced through the validation of repetitive behavior. Once a person creates and then believes that a self-limiting belief is true that continually act as if it was true. This fundamental belief apparently will show the person as real and as a result will continually be acted upon and thereby be reinforced through behaviour. Much of that person’s behavior will be to continually validate that he thinks it is. Some behavior will always be directed at supporting, reinforcing and validating what the person cree is true about him. While necessary for the welfare and health, this transformation of the self-image of being basically a negative one to one that is fundamentally positive does not happen instantaneously. As with the development of a negative self-image, developing a more adequate belief about the true nature of the person require constant and repetitive work of the individual. Fundamental to this process is that the individual must fully assume their sense of full responsibility for developing their own image and also for processing. Otherwise, just leave the individual feeling of powerlessness and unable to create life that he or she really wants and whether there is consistency and repetition of this transformation simply not happen.
My Improving self-esteem is an audio product that effectively transform the very structure of a person’s thought or belief pattern, the basic ideas and language structure that used to define who he thinks is in the world. This product has been specially designed to change the self-talk that a person experiences on a daily basis the evolution of ideas or beliefs that the person has about himself, the very foundation or backdrop of his inner conversation. As our identity is merely language, change the language of a person in mind and his life is transformed. Upon hearing this product an individual has the opportunity to practice or repeat fifty positive affirmations that enable them to change their lives. In a conversation Transformation Ministry, committing an affirmation to spoken word makes it so or real especially if done repeatedly. Listening to positive affirmations before sleep also allows the person has to begin this restructuring or rescheduling process, even if the person sleeps, taking the words and language into their dream state. By constantly listening to and practicing the positive affirmations in this product, the individual will have the opportunity to begin to redefine themselves, who think they are in the world, that is negative to one that is positive and to improve their lives. By accepting the words and language of the positive affirmations will come an improved self-image and with it a positive experience of self-esteem.
I am currently using Enhancing My self-esteem with all customers me at the Holistic Addiction Treatment Program in North Miami Beach, Florida. All I have worked with customers who are experiencing a drug and / or alcohol dependency problem also have very low self-esteem. My clients tend to be very depressed and unmotivated in many if not most of the different areas of his life, including and especially with his recovery. When given to my clients as homework, consistent use of Enhancing My self-esteem alter the way they think and improves how they feel about themselves. With a better self-image and greater self-esteem my clients become more motivated in his life and especially with his recovery. If a person continues to experience low self-esteem and there is no intervention to stop the underlying cognitive process taking on improving their living and working the 12 Step Program will be meaningless and eventually abandoned altogether, like so many other things have been in the past . It is my belief that not altering or transforming the fundamental structure of the self-image represents the large percentage of people who begin recovery and eventually relapse. The work that is essential for successful recovery of the person to be able to redefine who he thinks is, to change its image of itself, the very basis of their experience of self-esteem and life. That person cree which will determine what it does and how they resemble and others and the world.
